Inaugurates UET - Narowal Campus
CM Shahbaz Sharif inaugurates University of Engineering & Technology’s sub-campus at Narowal a few moments ago. The campus is associated with UET-Lahore and is part of the Shahbaz Sharif's vision to develop the under-developed areas of Punjab. Major focus of the campus will be on practical and industrial training. UET-Narowal campus is offering B.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Computer Sciences & Engineering. Initially 480 undergraduate students will be enrolled, and the number will subsequently increase to 960. CM Shahbaz Sharif's 5 years tenure is being recognized as a period of Education Reforms, as the quality education is made accessible to far flung areas of Punjab.

Elite Force Police Passing-out Parade
Elite Force is the backbone of the police
force. Elite Force has played important role in maintaining the law
& order situation in the province and should contribute more
effectively in curbing terrorism and crime.” said the CM while
inspecting passing-out parade of Elite force a few moments back. “Elite
Force is capable of making Punjab a safe province in accordance with
the Chief Minister's vision. Jawans had rendered unprecedented
sacrifices to prevent terrorist activities and maintain law and order.”

Launch Ceremony of 50,000 Internships and another 100,000 Laptops
CM Shahbaz Sharif launched 50,000 Internships and Phase 2 of another 100,000 Laptops under his Special Youth Initiative from Islamia University Bahawalpur. Internship program aims at providing professional experience to our fresh graduates which is usually demanded in job market. This will help the youth in getting suitable jobs easily and will be able to deliver their best. Laptops distribution, in Phase 2, has been started from the evening merit scholars. While addressing the merit scholars of Bahawalpur division, CM Shahbaz Sharif announced building a new Post Graduate Medical College associated with the near completion 410 bedded Bahawalpur General Hospital affiliated with the Islamia University

Pakistan India Business Round Table Conference
Pakistan India Business Round Table Conference led by CM Shahbaz Sharif and Indian Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal took place a few moments back in Lahore. This is the first time that such a high level delegation is meeting from both sides of the border to seek areas of mutual cooperation in investment & trade for the betterment of the people. Top businessmen are also present at the occasion.

CM Shahbaz & Indian Deputy CM Explore Areas of Mutual Cooperation
If the European nations, once at daggers drawn, can excel together in trade and industry, it's high time to step forward, decide to live as good neighbours and, try seeking solutions to water and Kashmir disputes on table...” remarked CM Shahbaz Sharif in his welcome meeting with the Indian delegation arriving earlier this eve, led by the Deputy CM of the Indian Punjab. Extending a warm welcome, thanking the Deputy CM for sending in Indian team for participation in the “Punjab Youth Festival”, CM Shahbaz Sharif stressed upon developing people to people contacts to improve trade relations and exchanging help in education, health and energy sectors. It was observed that Pakistan can benefit from India’s experience of generating power from coal, agricultural waste and bio-mass. Suggesting focusing on industry and trade relations, the Deputy CM invited CM Shahbaz Sharif to be the chief guest at final of the soon to be held World Cup Kabaddi Tournament in the Indian Punjab...
